Rose Marie Kern considers herself a “Jill of all trades, Mistress of none”.  As she will tell anyone asking, “My profession was aviation, my avocation encompasses environmentally healthy sustainable living, and my passions are writing, reading, singing and gardening.”

Her sustainability website delivers information on everything from homesteading to practical living experiences.   Rose and her partner have remodeled four homes (He leads the electrical, construction and plumbing, she directs the tape, tile, textures & painting. As  a master gardener, she grows an abundance of vegetables and fruits, then preserves them through canning, or dehydration.
